In the Caterpillar Room, we foster curiosity, creativity, and independence while guiding children to participate in a supportive social community. We teach structure, boundaries, spatial awareness, and self-respect by modeling positive behaviors.

We believe children learn through making mistakes and solving problems. We support social development through group activities, large circle time, collaborative play, and sharing. Sensory play and hands-on exploration are central to our routine, allowing children to learn through engaging, play-based experiences.

Our primary focus is social and emotional learning, while also preparing children for prekindergarten. Throughout the year, we address all eight learning categories with play-based activities tailored to their interests. Time in our garden allows children to connect with nature through planting, watering, and outdoor exploration.
